8-12-2018

This past week has been great! Lots of pictures to go along with it! We had transfers this week and so that kept us busy as we were helping all the missionaries make it to their new areas. Everyone made it safely and we are all ready for this new upcoming transfer! Oh yeah I am going to be staying in Nausori for another transfer! I am super excited to be able to stay! This will be my second 5 transfer area in a row only about a 20 minute drive apart from each other, and so you could say that I am pretty familiar with Suva and Nauosori and everything in between haha!

One of the coolest things that happened this week was in church yesterday! We had an Indian man walk in with one of the members and she got our attention to let us know that this is his first time in church. After the meeting finished I walked up and started talking to him and as he responded I could tell that he was not from here! His Hindi sounded super cool and we knew right away that he was from India! He told us that he was from Gujarati and is here visiting for work! We went with him to class and it was awesome as we were able to share about the gospel. He speaks different than us, and we speak different than him, but it was really cool to be able to see that we could still communicate with each other! He is going to be here a while and so we are going to visit him this week and share a lesson with him! This will be one of the first times when sanskrit is really going to come in handy! He is hindu, but knows a lot about Christianity and is excited to keep learning more.

As a companionship we are really excited for the next 6 weeks together and all the good that is happening in the area. I am almost out of time, but I am thankful to be a part of this great work! I have learned a lot this week about making sure that we are always on the Lord's errand. Just like President Monson used to say, we must always no matter what we are doing be looking for a way to uplift someone and fulfill our purposes as sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. We will be able to accomplish this if we always strive to have the Spirit with us no matter where we are.

The gospel is true! I love this work! I'll put the pictures down below and hopefully you'll get to see them!
